“Container rain” is defined as condensation that collects on a cargo container’s ceiling and drips down to wet the cargo.

“Container rain” is the term used to describe the condensing of other water vapor into water. It would severely damage the cargo and reputation of goods packaging, so in order to address and resolve this issue, we require a specific amount of dry pole.

If a shipping container isn’t properly sealed, rainwater can enter through gaps, seams, or rusted areas. This can result in water accumulating inside the container and potentially dripping out.

During the container shipments and storage, the diurnal temperature change made the gas-rich air temperature supersaturated, which was locked in the container during the day.

The cargo typically travels through a hot maritime climate with significant temperature variations, ranging from 0℃ -80℃ with up to 98% humidity. We call it the dew condensation phenomenon. The air’s water content is 30.4g/m3 at 30°C; if the temperature drops to 18°C, then it becomes less. Though, there will be a decrease in water vapor content to 15.4 g/m3.
